From May 20 to October 10, 2004, an innovative Card allows visitors to Pyhrn-Priel Region to travel, shop and dine like a local. The "Pyhrn-Priel Adventure Card" enables tourists to experience the Region´s best while enjoying world-class value. Every guest staying overnight at one of 150 lodging properties throughout scenic Pyhrn-Priel Region receives a complimentary "Natural Experience Card".

The Season Card for locals, daytime visitors and friends of the area. The Adult Card is at Euro 49.00, the Child Card is at Euro 27.00. This cool Adventure Card entitles you to use a variety of the area´s most rewarding recreational facilities, sights and attractions!

Pyhrn-Priel Region is filled with adventurous sports possibilities: Cycling and mountain biking, hiking and rock climbing, fishing, rafting, paragliding, you get the idea!

Recreational facilities include tennis courts, an indoor climbing wall at the Alpine Center, skating trails, and a summer luge track. The area´s crystal-clear lakes lend itself to swimming, diving and boating.

At the Local Heritage Museum of Windischgarsten you can step back in time. The Baroque Collegiate Church at Spital, the Austrian Rock Art Museum and the Crypt of the Canons Regular are definitely worth visiting as well. Information on the region

The popular holiday region of Pyhrn-Priel is surrounded by the mighty mountain ranges of the Totes Gebirge, Hallermauern and Sengsengebirge. This region in the southeast of Upper Austria comprises 7 municipalities, of which Windischgarsten, Hinterstoder, Spital am Pyhrn and Vorderstoder are the main municipalities.
