  • A vast 500 km network of trails has everything a sporty or leisurely mountain biker could possibly dream of. One of the hot spots is the splendid Bike Park Wagrein packed with trails, steep turns and obstacles – a paradise for novice mountain bikers, pros and downhill fans.
  • Among the pro tours amidst the Radstädter Tauern mountains ranks the 30 km long Hallmoos loop, leading from St. Johann to the quaint Kreistenalm – a popular rest stop.
  • The scenic Steinwand loop is a bit less exhausting but equally beautiful. This tour of intermediate difficulty provides uninterrupted vies of Altenmarkt and the Alpine scenery.
  • Yearly highlight in the Salzburger Sportwelt: spectacular Bike Night Flachau - a mountain bike race under floodlights, followed by a great party night.

  • Salzburger Sportwelt stands for some 1000 kilometers of waymarked trails and footpaths across varied terrain, including 14 educational trails, such as the Bauernregeln Rundweg focusing on local sayings and weather proverbs.
  • In addition, Salzburger Sportwelt is home to nine out of 31 sections of the Salzburger Almenweg route, which winds its way from one mountain pasture and/or mountain inn to the next.
  • Rossbrand mountain is Radstadt’s most prominent landmark and offers stunning views. It is accessible via Schwemmberg and the Radstätter Hütte.
  • 5 uphill facilities operate even in summer and take walkers up the mountains in no time. The Gamskogelbahn top station in Zauchensee, for instance, is the trailhead for walks and hikes to Lake Seekarsee as well as for educational herb tours.

  • Golfclub Radstadt boasts two outstanding golf courses: the 9-hole par 36 Academy Course, and the 18-hole par 71 Championship Course.
  • The 18-hole golf course in Radstadt comes with a special highlight: The Birdie Jet cable car takes players up to hole 12 (elevation gain: 250 m). Hitting from the 13th tee at an altitude of 1,000 meters, players will enjoy breathtaking views of the Salzburger Sportwelt ski arena.
  • The Open Golf St. Johann-Alpendorf golf club lives up to what its name suggests: the 9-hole Orange Course is open to everyone - including amateurs, families and people not holding a "Platzreife" handicap certificate. The 9-hole Blue Course is known for its stunning scenery and attractive holes.

Ski areas as far as your eye can reach: welcome to the Salzburger Sportwelt winter sports paradise. The renowned Alpine Ski World Cup venues of Flachau and Altenmarkt-Zauchensee promises unrivaled skiing and snowboarding fun on incredible 250 slope kilometers for all abilities.
