Enjoy down-to-earth local, yet creative cooking. It goes without saying that we use produce from local farmers wherever it´s possible.

In former times, farmers preferred solid, inexpensive food. Flour, butter, milk, and cheese were the predominant ingredients of our local cuisine. Today, traditional specialties such as Cheese spaetzle are served in almost every restaurant.

The Bregenzerwald region is well-known for its culinary highlights: 9 restaurants boasting 11 "chef´s hats" awarded by Gault Millau.
