Holidays Wattens

Wattens: Holidays full of splendor

Nestling right at the heart of the scenic Tirolean Inntal Valley, encircled by the majestic mountains of the Alpine realm, you’ll find a very precious holiday retreat: Wattens – a lovely Tirolean village at a few kilometers from Innsbruck   entfernt - offers a wonderful blend of nature, activities, rest and recreation throughout the seasons. Tirol’s majestic mountain ranges are only a stone’s throw away, a well as the unrivaled Swarovski Crystal Worlds created by world-famous André Heller. Wattens makes a wonderful spot for couples, families and individual travelers.

A whole new World made of Crystals

An absolute must for all visitors to Wattens: enjoy a tour of the splendid Swarovski Crystal Worlds. A truly unique world of fantasy and marvel designed by internationally renowned artists like Andy Warhol and Keith Haring who interpreted crystal in their own creative way. The marvelous Wonder Chambers, the Crystal Dome boasting 595 mirrors, and a Sparkling Labyrinth will take away your breath. The special “Music in the Giant” series has become a hot spot of Tirol’s Culture Scene. Additionally, Wattens is famous for its one-of-a-kind Typewriter Museum giving a detailed insight into the history of machine-supported writing. Besides the many cultural highlights, Wattens and its surroundings also boast a stunning Alpine scenery. You can choose from myriad leisurely paths or demanding mountain routes for both hikers or mountain bikers amidst the Karwendel Alpine Park. For example, Tirol’s Eagle Walk route or Vögelsberg Activity Park promise unlimited sports and fun in the Tirolean mountains.
