Pinzgau: Memorable summer days in the mountains

The rugged peaks of the Leoganger Steinberge and the gently rolling grass hills of the Kitzbühel Alps make a prime destination for outdoor enthusiasts from spring to autumn. With 400 kilometers of walking and hiking trails Leogang and its surroundings offer innumerable options for nature exploration and exercise. Even mountain biking enthusiasts will find plenty of routes and tracks to discover the awesome scenery, which made it the venue for the downhill event of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships a couple of years ago.
One of the highlight in the area is the Flying Fox XXL. The zip line is the longest of its kind in Austria and allows for a top speed of up to 140 kilometers per hour. The cozy pubs and inns of Leogang are just perfect to finish an exciting day out with a traditional meal and a nice drink.
