Information on the region

Enjoy Sunshine in Winter

Snow crystals glitter in the sunshine in winter and the idyllic village of Neustift is covered with snow. Enjoy peace and quiet on the cross-country tracks and walking trails in the valley. Winter shows its most adventurous side in the four skiing areas. The Stubai Glacier is the largest skiing area in the valley and offers skiers and snowboarders alike a unique atmosphere for their skiing holiday at 3200 meters above sea level. We have especially focused on families and the skiing area has already been awarded four times in a row as the most family-friendly ski resort in the Alps by the ADAC. Children up to the age of 10 ski for free when accompanied by their parents. Another highlight in Neustift is the Elferlifte lifts. The local mountain is not only popular among hikers but also among skiers who appreciate small and demanding skiing areas. The highlight at the Elfer mountain however is the tobogganing track. The floodlit track leads from the mountain station all the way to Neustift. A second route leads you through the romantic Pinnistal valley, past the Issenangeralm pasture hut and the Herzebner hut. It is worth stopping by.
