The Roman excavations of AGUNTUM are situated 5 km from Lienz, towards Carinthia (B100 federal road).

The excavation works revealed the city walls, an atrium house, a trading quarter, a large bath house and an early Christian burial church.

The new observation tower offers magnificent views of the excavation site and the entire city.

A video showing showing scenes from everday life in Rome and a virtual replica of Aguntum is available at the Info Center.
