The Hans Obholzer via ferrata at the Haidachstellwand is part of the Achensee 5-peaks via ferrata

The 5-peaks via ferrata includes Haidachstellwand, Rosskopf, Seekarlspitze, Spieljoch and Hochiss, the highest peak in the Rofan muntains.

Walk along Grubersteig path in the direction of Rofanspitz in order to reach the entrance of Hans Obholzer via ferrata. At the first crossing, walk in the direction of Haidachstellwand/Kransattel. At the second crossing, walk in the direction of Haidachstellwand until you reach the entrance to the climbing path.

Best season: June to October
Ascent and descent: 1 hour each
Walking time for climbing path: 3.5 hours
Elevation gain: 120 m
Length of via ferrata: 450 m

The Hans Obholzer climbing path can ideally be combined with Rosskopf climbing path.
Equipment: complete set and helmet needed! Hooks and pitons required.
