Attersee Attersee am Attersee
Lake Attersee - Austria's largest lake - is embedded in the picturesque landscape of the Prealps. Water sport fans will enjoy the numerous possibilities to have fun and excitement at the same time. For a long time, it has been an insider's tip among divers and sailors. Or simply enjoy relaxing moments at the many lakeside bathing areas which offer splendid views of the Höllengebirge mountains. Sports fans will discover this fascinating mountain scenery on their bikes.

For more than hundred years, visitors and holiday makers have appreciated the advantages of the region. Already in the Belle Epoque many artists were attraced by Lake Attersee. Gustav Klimt spent many summers in this region and was inspired by the harmonic landscape.
