ENGLISH VERSION
Spacious living within historic walls – In a former church dating from the 12th century and in wonderful panoramic hillside location in Pisiciotta’s car-free, medieval center Casa Marida waits to welcome you.

ENGLISH VERSION
Casa Marida’s two balconies open upon a gorgeous panoramic view across terracotta-colored rooftops and silvery-green olive groves as far as the sea and the Cape of Palinuro. The apartment’s 100 m² of living space and rooms more than 4 m in height offer pleasant spaciousness.
AUTHENTIC, SOUTHERN ITALIAN VILLAGE LIFE IN THE ALLEYS OF PISCIOTTA
Casa Marida includes a spacious living room with dining area, an eat-in kitchen (incl. fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven), two large bedrooms (double bed; twin beds, which can be rearranged to form a double bed or converted into a small sofa) and a bathroom (shower/WC/bidet).
The living room opens onto a French balcony, the twin bedroom, which is a pass-through room, opens onto the furnished, south-facing balcony, from where you enjoy an unobstructed view of the sea and the Cape of Palinuro. The bathroom is accessible from the kitchen.
The apartment also features: WiFi, (SAT-)TV. washing machine, hair dryer, infant bed.
A hello gift welcomes you: A small bottle of the local olive oil the family of landlady Rosangela has been producing from the Pisciotta olive for years awaits you at the accommodation. The olive groves are located right before your eyes - you need only take a look from the balcony.
FASCINATING PISCIOTTA – NON-TOURISTY AND AS IF FROM ANOTHER TIME
When you are at Pisciotta for the first time, it seems to you as if time there has stood a bit still. That makes for the special charm of the small hilltop village, which yet, year-round, displays an 'active' village life and a sense of togetherness you can almost touch.
At the village and ca. 150 – 200 m from Casa Marida, you find whatever you need during your holidays: small grocery stores, a piazza with bars, ristoranti, pizzeria and newsstand, a greengrocer’s, a store selling local fish specialties (Alici di Menaica), a car, bike and scooter rental.
BEACH HOLIDAYS - The beach of Marina di Pisciotta is at a walking distance of ca. 1 km along a footpath (partly steps); by car it takes you only a few minutes to get there. Marina’s beaches are without service. You can, however, rent loungers and sunshades on site by the day and decide on 'your' nicest spot at long Acqua Bianca beach.
A boat tour on the crystal clear waters of the sea along Pisciotta's unspoilt, wild-romantic coastline is a very special (bathing) experience. There are two boat rentals at Marina’s harbor; a boat license is not required for the small motor boats. Do take along your camera to capture the beauties of the coastal landscape.
Organized boat tours with local fishermen to the sea grottos of Capo Palinuro and of marine nature park Infreschi also depart from Marina's harbor.
WAY OF TRAVELING & PARKING – Public parking is found on the edge of the village center, about 200 - 300 m from Casa Marida. The nearest parking facility is the parking garage before you reach Piazza Pinto. More parking spaces are found outside the village center.
To get around a bit between the Marina, the train station and Pisciotta, you could take the Ape-taxi (max. 3 persons) of Signor Nello. For a ride from Pisciotta to Pisciotta train station, for example, you have to count on at least € 10 per person (information subject to change).
